Mega Credit Shield

Mega Credit Shield provides a protection to your credit card balance in the case of any occurrence by the covered risk, as per the applied terms and conditions of the said product. This product is the product of PT PFI MEGA LIFE, which also act as an insurer to the said product.

There are 3 (three) types of the offered Mega Credit Shield:

1. Mega Credit Shield Maksima, with Premium of 0.55% from the Current Balance

The said product is an insurance program for credit card holder that covers the risk of death due to illness or accident, and the risk to suffer total/partial and permanent disability due to illness or accident.

Insurance Benefits:

  • If insured passed away, not due to accident, then insurer will pay 200% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured passed away, due to accident, then insurer will pay 500% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured being diagnosed to suffer total and permanent disability due to illness or accident then insurer will pay 100% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured being diagnosed to suffer partial and permanent disability due to illness or accident, for at least 30 consecutive days then insurer will pay 10% of current credit card balance at the time of risk or maximum IDR 50,000 in monthly basis, for a maximum of 12 months as long as insured suffers the said risk, with a maximum limit is as per the said credit card balance at the time of diagnosis or with a certain predefined amount, paid to Bank Mega as the Policyholder.
  • Insurance benefit will be paid to Policyholder to first allocate the payment benefit to settle the said credit card balance, and the remainder is paid to Beneficiary
     

2. Mega Ultima Shield, with Premium of 0.68% from the Current Balance

The said product is an insurance program for credit card holder that covers the risk of death due to illness or accident, and the risk to suffer total/partial and permanent disability due to illness or accident, or the risk to suffer any of the 5 (five) critical illnesses.

Insurance Benefits

  • If insured passed away, not due to accident, then insurer will pay 200% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured passed away, due to accident, then insurer will pay 500% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured being diagnosed to suffer total and permanent disability due to illness or accident then insurer will pay 100% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured being diagnosed to suffer partial and permanent disability due to illness or accident, for at least 30 consecutive days then insurer will pay 10% of current credit card balance at the time of risk or maximum IDR 50,000 in monthly basis, for a maximum of 12 months as long as insured suffers the said risk, with a maximum limit is as per the said credit card balance at the time of diagnosis or with a certain predefined amount, paid to Bank Mega as the Policyholder.
  • If insured being diagnosed for the first time in life to suffer any of the 5 (five) critical illness then insurer will pay 100% of current credit card balance at the time of risk. 
  • Insurance benefit will be paid to Policyholder to first allocate the payment benefit to settle the said credit card balance, and the remainder is paid to Beneficiary

 

3. Mega Protection Care, with Premium of 0.25% from the current balance

The said product is an insurance program for credit card holder that covers the risk of death due to illness or accident, and the risk to suffer total/partial and permanent disability due to illness or accident.

Insurance Benefits:

  • If insured passed away, due to illness or accident, then insurer will pay 100% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured being diagnosed to suffer total and permanent disability due to illness or accident then insurer will pay 100% of current credit card balance at the time of risk
  • If insured being diagnosed to suffer partial and permanent disability due to illness or accident, for at least 30 consecutive days then insurer will pay 10% of current credit card balance at the time of risk or maximum IDR 50,000 in monthly basis, for a maximum of 12 months as long as insured suffers the said risk, with a maximum limit is as per the said credit card balance at the time of diagnosis or with a certain predefined amount, paid to Bank Mega as the Policyholder.
  • Insurance benefit will be paid to Policyholder to first allocate the payment benefit to settle the said credit card balance, and the remainder is paid to Beneficiary

Installation Manual

Company/Guarantor General Requirement:

  • A business entity according to the applicable law in Indonesia
  • Acquired minimum asset of IDR 10.000.000.000 (ten billion rupiahs)
  • Year of establishment:
    • New Acquisition: 5 (five) years; or
    • Existing Corporate Client: 1 (one) year 
  • Local/Large Local or Multinational Company registered to operate within Indonesia jurisdiction
  • Profitable for the last 2 (two) consecutive years (proven by latest audited financial report)
  • Legally Incorporated by Indonesia jurisdiction (submit Notarial Deed, Operating Permit/SIUP)
  • Not a non performing loan creditor in any Bank or other financial institution
  • Not listed on negative anti money laundering or terrorism act both Indonesia or International
     

Cardholder General Requirement:

  • Designated by Company
  • Indonesian or other nationality domicile in Indonesia
  • Minimum 21 (twenty one) years old and maximum 65 (sixty five) years old
  • Having approvable SLIK rating

  • Notarial Deeds with its Endorsement Letter from Ministry of Legal and Human Rights of Indonesia
